Count Module

It works through the handheld terminal and the count reports are tracked on the computer used for RFID applications. Counting process handheld terminal or by walking between the shelves in the library and reading the materials on the shelves from a certain distance. With the counting module, a new count can be made, and the last count that has been interrupted can be continued.

Misplacement Module

It is a module that determines the location of the material that should not be on the shelf with the help of a hand terminal. In order to find the misplaced material on a shelf, the RFID tag of the relevant shelf is first read and how much material is on that shelf is displayed on the hand terminal screen together with the RFID codes. While listing the materials, a warning beep is received from the handheld terminal for each misplaced material. If necessary, the information of the incorrectly placed document is also displayed on the screen.

Discovery Module

It is a module that finds the searched document and locates it. The searched material is introduced to the hand terminal and the information of the work is called. Searching and locating can be done from a certain distance by navigating between the shelves with a handheld terminal. As you get closer to the document you want to find or searched for, the warning sound from the handheld terminal continues to increase. When the material is found, a different “beep” warning is received. Thus, the discovery process is carried out in a short time.

In the library or archive it works only on the machine reserved for lending and returns. For lending, the reader is first identified at the encoding station. Afterwards, the documents to be borrowed are read at this station and the lending process is carried out. Thus, exits from the security gate are made legal. In addition, the documents that come out of the door with permission are followed on the computer. If the documents are not checked out or are incomplete, the alarm system is activated at the door. Return transactions are carried out like lending transactions. The reader is first introduced at the encoding station and the return process is performed by activating the RFID tag(s). Likewise, documents entering through the security gate are tracked from the computer.

The documents that are photocopied daily are read on the hand terminal, the requested page numbers are entered, and the information is transferred to the computer by associating them with the reader. In this way, it is possible to monitor which reader has taken from which document, when and how many pages, and when a copy is requested from the same work later, copying processes are accelerated, without the need for a second copy of the same pages, only with a new request. Thus, the frequency of use of that material is evaluated over time.

The system is designed in such a way that many statistical data about various applications can be obtained. Reports on counting, misplacing, finding, labeling, most used materials, safety; Thanks to the improved filtering method and search options, it can be retrieved in a wide range.
