Purpose of Port Control Automation

Chip tags positioned on vehicles and chip cards provided to drivers prevent queues at ports and all transits are recorded in the system without the need for manual processing. Cameras are positioned at the crossing points and photo-supported movement reports are obtained, thus ensuring full control. Port Control Automation offers unmanned weighing service. Thus; human errors are minimized, labor costs are reduced and fully controlled work is followed.

Working Principle of Port Control Automation

The antennas positioned by Teknopalas engineers in accordance with the project conditions detect the movements of the vehicles according to the direction of passage and record the vehicle information from the main control panel to the computer. Vehicle and driver information is recorded in the system. RFID vehicle tag specific to each vehicle and RFID driver card specific to each driver are created. Port Control Automation transfers instant information to the system through vehicle tags and driver cards read by RFID antennas at port entrances. In addition, thanks to the cameras positioned at the crossing points, the images of vehicles and drivers are matched with the movement record. Vehicle-driver matching is made in the system. Thus, security is maximized by preventing possible confusion. Weighing operations of vehicles can be performed without manual interventions.

SAFETY

•All entrances and exits are recorded with 24/7 camera support. Thus, a high level of security is ensured.

• The stickers affixed to the windshield of the vehicle disintegrate when attempted to be removed, preventing the sticker from being used by other vehicles, thus preventing abuses.

•Thanks to the cameras that capture the images of the vehicle and the driver, which vehicle and which driver is driving is recorded during the transition to the system.

• If drivers pass without a card, the system records and gives a warning.
